Set out in the country, off the highway, starting your run from The Wine Country Inn is a delight from the first step.

Most mornings, even in the height of summer, are perfect for a little run or walk.

Our Jogger’s Map (available at the Front Desk) offers four different routes of varying mileage and difficulty, all taking you out into the countryside and up into the hills. Glass Mountain, directly to the east of The Inn, is literally a mountain of obsidian. The entire area around The Wine Country Inn is deep in historical significance. Indian tribes from all over the Western United States used to visit the Napa Valley, trading for the exquisite arrow and spearheads that were made from this stone.
